Laboratory

Macplast products are constantly exposed to accurate control systems during and after the entire production phase in order to ensure a high quality standard of the finished product.
The Quality Control Laboratory boasts state-of-the-art technology and highly qualified staff that works to verify product conformity and quality through the following controls:

Raw materials control:

  • Melt Flow Rate index (MFR) test, 190°C/5 kg, results expressed in g/10 min according to the UNI EN ISO 1133 test method;
  • Oxidative-induction time test (OIT), 200°C/20 min, according to the ISO 11357 test method.
  • Dimensional checks,for all metal bars or components.

Product control:

  • Dimensional control test, according to UNI EN 12201/1555 reference standards;
  • Melt Flow Rate Index (MFR) test,according to UNI EN ISO 1133;
  • Internal pressure resistance at constant temperature20°C/100h, 80°C/165h, 80°C/1000 h according to UNI EN ISO 1167;
  • Oxidative-induction time test (OIT), 200°C/20 min, according to the ISO 11357 test method.
  • Verification of mechanical features(traction) according to ISO 13953 (only smalldiameters).
